Estate Planning

Estate Planning

We often overlook the importance of estate planning until something happens; we retire, a loved one dies, we get sick, or we simply get in touch with our mortality. It is common for people to ignore the importance of an estate plan until they are in their golden years. This does not mean it is too late, it simply means you need to work with an attorney who has experience handling estate planning matters.

Estate plans help give you peace of mind; your decisions about your health care, who administers your finances in the event you are disabled, and how your assets are distributed after your death are all important components of an estate plan. There is no one solution; every person has specific estate planning needs, and individual goals. I will take the time to discuss all of your options, make sure you understand the benefits, as well as the drawbacks, of using a will or trust and help you decide what legal documents will be necessary.

If you are a senior, we can come to your home or, if you prefer, a teleconference can be arranged as well.
